How much is a personal injury or wrongful death case worth?

The facts of each case are different. In a personal injury case, another person(s) or entity(ies) must be at-fault for causing your injuries. If another person(s) or entity(ies) are at fault for your injuries, the next inquiry is what type of injuries did you sustain? Medical bills, lost wages, among other matters like whether the medical treatment is complete, is considered in an evaluation of case worth.

Caroline offers free consultations to discuss potential cases. If you would like to speak to Caroline, contact her by phone at 931.246.4040 or by email at admin@carolinesapplaw.com.

How much is your attorney's fee?

In personal injury and wrongful death cases, Caroline only gets paid an attorney’s fee on a contingency basis, which means she only gets paid if she wins.

Caroline does not charge a consultation fee nor hourly charges for personal injury and wrongful death cases.

How do I know what attorney to hire?

For over a decade, Caroline has focused her practice on personal injury matters and helped hundreds of clients with their injury cases over her legal career. Hiring the right attorney matters and can be critical to the success of a case. Below are a few questions to consider when determining what attorney to hire:

Does the attorney focus their practice on personal injury and wrongful death cases?

Does the attorney have the extensive personal injury and wrongful death experience?

Will the attorney I hire actually be working on my case, or will it be another partner or associate?

When I contact my attorney’s office, will the attorney be contacting me or will I mainly be speaking with some other representative at the firm?

What is the disciplinary history of the attorney?

Has the attorney been successful in other cases?

Does the attorney have former client reviews, and what do those reviews say about their experience?

Does the attorney know how to address subrogation, liens, and medical bills?

One would not hire a veterinarian to perform spinal surgery. Similarly, consider why one would hire an attorney who does not focus on personal injury and wrongful death to represent them in such a case?
